Gateways is a partnership of academic and public researchers, creative practitioners and artists, and heritage organisations.

At the Gateways Partnership we have a breadth of experience in innovative creative engagement with history and heritage. We create heritage experiences, performances and plays, immersive exhibitions, lecture-concerts, and multimedia artworks. We also offer workshops and experiences for schools and colleges. Led by an academic team our work is underpinned by the latest historical research and perspectives partnered with cutting edge professional expertise in creative and collaborative practice.

We work with partners in the heritage, arts and cultural sectors and with community groups to deliver multimedia and bespoke projects, experiences and artworks. Across our work we are interested in site and place, marginalised and unheard voices and perspectives, use of archives and historic sources.
